ITI World Symposium Study Club in a Box?

All the Study Club Directors have access to the ITI World Symposium 2027 Study Club Box.
Follow the step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to the ITI.org website and in the top right corner, find the Tools menu. There, you will click the Study Club in a Box.
  2. You will be asked to sign in using your ITI Membership account
  3. A new window will open with the World Symposium Study Club in a Box. Select your section’s discipline. Click “Access”
  4. The SharePoint folder will open with the clincal case documentation.

 

What is in the World Symposium Box?

1. Treatment planning exercise

Initial documentation of a clinical case provided by an ITI World Symposium Speaker. The clinical documentation supports Study Clubs in completing the treatment planning exercise.

2. ITI guidelines and template

A framework to guide Study Clubs in structuring their treatment planning and using ITI resources for the exercise. And a template for a video presentation, if your sections requires.

Structure and rules

The ITI Study Club Games follow a clear, step-by-step structure, from local Section competitions to global finals and awards at the ITI World Symposium 2027.

Section-level Games

How Study Clubs participate?

Each ITI Section is assigned to one of the five World Symposium disciplines during the Opening Ceremony on March 11, 2026.

From March 12 to August 31, 2026, Study Clubs take part in the Section-level Games.

What Study Clubs need to do:

  • Organize a Study Club meeting using the World Symposium Study Club Box
  • Work together on a treatment planning exercise
  • Submit their treatment plan according to their Section’s instructions

Important to know:

  • Each Section organizes its competition in its own way
  • Each Section selects one winning Study Club
  • Each Section announces its winner by September 1, 2026

Global-level Games

How finalists compete?

The winning Study Club from each Section advances to the Global-level Games.

From September 1 to December 11, 2026, each of the 8 finalist Study Clubs per discipline prepares:

  • A treatment planning video
  • A short “Vote for us!” video for public engagement

For each discipline:

  • A live online event is held
  • One Gold Medalist is selected per discipline

Jury, voting & global medalists

How are the 5 Gold Medalists selected?

The Golden Medalists are selected based on a combination of:

  • Expert jury evaluation
  • Public voting

Who is on the jury:

  • The moderators of the five ITI World Symposium 2027 sessions

How the Golden Medalists are selected:

  • Jury evaluation and public votes are combined
  • One winner is selected for each discipline (5 Gold Medalists in total)

Awards & recognition

Global recognition

The 5 Gold Medalist Study Clubs receive special recognition:

  • Free ITI World Symposium 2027 registration for Study Club Directors and members
  • Award ceremony at the World Symposium sessions

This is where local teamwork becomes global recognition.

Opening Ceremony

March 11, 2026

Our 40 Sections will be grouped into 5 disciplines, with 8 Sections per discipline.

Section-level Games

March 12 – Aug 31, 2026

Our 40 Sections conduct internal competitions among its Study Clubs. Each Section will select one winner.

Global-level Games

Sep 1 – Dec 11, 2026

The winning Study Club from each Section will advance as a finalist, with 8 clubs per discipline. Five live events will determine one winner in each discipline.

ITI World Symposium 2027 in Milan

May 6-8 2027

5 Gold Medalists from the global-level Games will be invited to the World Symposium 2027 to be awarded their trophy
