Peri-implant diseases are often viewed as complications that occur after implant placement. However, the factors that influence long-term success are often established well before the first drill contacts bone and are laying within the patient’s behaviours, expectations, and environment.

This workshop shifts the focus upstream, from managing complications to shaping the patient.

What if implant success depends not mainly on the bone to implant interface but on the patient’s ability to maintain the outcome? What if the real point of failure is not biological but behavioural?

This session explores fundamental question: When is a patient ready to receive implant?

Through clinical cases and interactive discussion, participants will explore how to:
